KSP Prepare for Major Safety Check Points in Targeted Areas
With Emphasis on Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
Date of News Release: 03/10/2008
(Henderson, KY) - WHAT: Operation Egg Hunt (Easter Weekend)
WHEN: Saturday, March 22, 2008* (2200 – 2400 hours)
WHERE: Pike, Laurel and Muhlenberg Counties
WHO: KSP Team 1 = Post 9, KSP Team 2 = Post 11, KSP Team 3 = Post 2 & 16
(Canines & DRE Specialists will be at each safety check location)
WHY: Impact targeted regions with increased efforts in the area of DUID.
KSP will hold a News Conference at HQ on Monday, March 24th (1400 hours) to release statistical information from the checkpoints.
