Injury Collision on North Green Street in Henderson County

Date of News Release: 07/11/2008

(Henderson , KY) - Officer Stoner of Henderson Police Department was traveling North on Green street in a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria. Officer Stoner was in route to an emergency call, with his emergency equipment activated. Ruth Brooks was driving a 2001 Chevy Impala and was pulling out of McDonalds on South Green Street. Ms. Brooks attempted to make a left turn out of McDonalds parking lot to go South on Green when she was struck by Officer Stoner's vehicle in the left front of her vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest blocking both right lanes of South Green St. Ruth Brooks and her passenger Edna Brooks were transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson to be treated for minor head injuries.
