Mason Courtney Arrested

Date of News Release: 07/11/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - On July 11, 2008 at 1148hrs Trooper Michael Cook received information that Mason Courtney would be turning himself in at the Hickman County Sheriff's Office. This subject is wanted by numerous agencies in connection with a series of burglaries in seven counties in the Post 1 area. Trooper Cook responded and Mr. Courtney soon presented himself to the trooper. Mr. Courtney was taken into custody without incident and was lodged in the Hickman County Detention Center.

Additional information and total charges filed against Mr. Courtney will be released next week in a joint press release from KSP and the local jurisdictions detailing the sequence of events in his alleged crimes and the ensuing investigation.
