Injury Collision on KY 97 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 07/11/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Justin Thomas was operating his 2001 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on KY 97. David Butler was operating his 2005 Yamaha northbound on KY 97. Mr. Thomas attempted to make a left turn into a driveway and did not see Mr. Butler. Mr. Thomas struck Mr. Butler ejecting him from his motorcycle. Mr. Butler suffered several abrasions and was admitted to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. Mr. Thomas did not receive any injuries. Tpr. Byron White was assisted at the scene by Mayfield Police Department, Graves County Sheriff's Office, and Graves County EMS. Investigation continues by Tpr. Byron White.
