Injury Collision on KY 564 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 08/05/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - On Tuesday, August 05, 2008 Kentucky State Police responded to an injury accident on KY 564 in Golo. Mr. Jarod Cheatham Jr. was operating a 1996 Toyota pickup northbound on KY 564 when he entered a ninety degree left curve too fast. Mr. Cheatham applied his brakes as he went through the curve causing the vehicle to rotate approximately ninety degrees counter clockwise and cross the southbound lane of traffic. Mr Cheatham's vehicle continued across the southbound lane and entered a ditch where it rolled onto the passenger side before falling back onto its wheel's and coming to final rest. Mr. Cheatham complained of shoulder pain and was taken to Jackson Purchase ER by Mayfield/Graves County EMS.
