Trafficking Marijuana Arrest in Lyon County

Date of News Release: 08/11/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Troopers TJ Williams and David Archer were conducting a criminal patrol detail along I-24 in Lyon County. Troopers noticed a registration violation on a 1999 Jeep traveling eastbound near the 46 mile marker. After a roadside interview Mr. Mathew Denault Miller, was found to possess a small quanity of suspected marijuana. A vehicle search revealed five (5) other separate bags of suspected marijuana, two (2) sets of digital scales and over $1,500 in cash. Mr. Miller and the other vehicle occupant (Steven Glenn Revels) were arrrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana less than 8 oz & Possession Drug Paraphernalia 1st offense and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
