DUI Injury Collision on Airport Road in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 08/26/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Mr. Randall J. Jones was traveling northbound on Airport Road when he veered off the right shoulder of the road, struck two mailboxes, and then struck a large tree. Mr. Jones was transported to the Murray/Calloway County Hospital Emergency Room with possible head/back injuries, where he was treated and then released into the custody of Trooper Green. Mr. Jones was charged with Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 2nd offense aggravated; Failure to wear seatbelts; Driving on a DUI suspended license 1st offense (aggravated); Failure of owner to maintain insurance 1st offense; and Failure to register/transfer motor vehicle. Mr. Jones was lodged at the Calloway County Jail. Trooper Green was assisted at the scene by the Murray/Calloway County EMS.
