Update to Injury (Fatal) Collision on KY 295 in Crittenden County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. Davenport passed away September 30th, 2008, in Tennessee due to injuries sustained in the collision.

Date of News Release: 09/27/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. Teddie Davenport was operating his vehicle southbound on KY 295 towards Eddyville, KY. Mr. Davenport lost control of his vehicle and exited the left side of the roadway. Mr. Davenport then overcorrected his vehicle and crossed back over the roadway, striking an earth embankment. Impact with the embankment caused the vehicle to overturn several times, ejecting Mr. Davenport from the vehicle. Mr. Davenport was treated on scene by Lyon County EMS and Crittenden County EMS before being life flighted to Western Baptist Hospital. Mr. Davenport was later transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital were he remains in critical condition.
