Crittenden County Stolen Vehicle Investigation

(Madisonville, KY) - On Sunday, October 26, 2008 at approximately 11:00 a.m., Trooper Chris King responded to a residence on Tom Minner Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim, Terry Powell, reported that he awoke and discovered that his 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4 pickup truck was missing from the driveway.
On Monday, October 27, 2008 at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department recovered a burned vehicle at the E-town Ferry Landing. The investigation revealed that it was Mr. Powell's truck. The truck was a total loss. The Kentucky State Police requests anyone with information in reference to the case to contact them at 1-270-676-3313 or toll-free at 1-800-222-5555. Callers may remain anonymous. The investigation is continuing.
