Injury Crash on Beulah Road in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 10/31/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Lovda Curneal was driving westbound on Beulah Road when a deer entered the roadway. Mrs. Curneal swerved to the right to avoid hitting the deer when her right front tire dropped off the roadway into the ditch. The vehicle continued along the ditch until it hit a concrete drain culvert, under the driveway, in front of 1920 Beulah Road. Striking the culvert caused the vehicle to flip over onto its top, and land in the driveway of the residence. Mrs. Curneal was taken to the Regional Medical Center where she was treated for a broken ankle and other injuries.
