Injury Collision on US 41 A in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 11/01/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Kimberly Duncan was driving southbound on US 41 A when she dropped a cup of coffee in her floorboard. She reached to retrieve the cup and her vehicle dropped off the side of the road. Ms. Duncan overcorrected trying to pull back on the road and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle turned sideways on the road and left the roadway on the right side. The vehicle rolled over one time and came to rest on its wheels off the roadway. Ms. Duncan was taken by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment.
