Drug Arrest in Todd County

Date of News Release: 11/04/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - On Monday, November 3, 2008 at approximately 11:43 p.m., Trooper Jeffrey Ayres conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Othel Webster Jr. Trooper Ayres arrested Mr. Webster for driving under the influence of drugs. While searching the vehicle, Trooper Ayres located methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside. Mr. Webster was arrested on the charges of DUI 1st Offense, Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana & Possession Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense. Mr. Webster's passenger, Shannon M. Brown, was arrested and charged with Possession Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense. Both subjects were lodged in the Todd County Jail.
