Injury Collision on US 68 in Todd County

Date of News Release: 11/04/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Harold Wilson was operating a 1991 Buick Century westbound on US 68. Corry Walters was operating a 1997 GMC Safari on Goshen Road. He was attempting to make a left turn onto US 68 to travel eastbound. Mr. Walters did not see Mr. Wilson's vehicle approaching and pulled out into his path. The two vehicles collided at the intersection. Mr. Wilson's vehicle came to rest blocking both eastbound lanes. Mr. Walter's vehicle came to rest in the median. Mr. Wilson was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Wilson was wearing a seatbelt. Corry Walters and his two passengers, Dana Walters and Zachary Parker, were transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. Zachary Parker was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Corry and Dana Walters were wearing seatbelts.
