Injury Collision on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 11/07/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Edward Eifler was driving southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway when he came upon traffic stopped due to a convoy having traffic congested on the parkway. Mr. Eifler did not see the traffic stopped in time and struck the vehicle driven, by Krystal Hayes, in the rear. The Hayes vehicle then went airborne for a short distance before striking the vehicle driven by Carolyn Mcgill. Mrs. McGill was taken by Helicopter to St. Mary's to be treated for her injuries. Ms. Hayes was taken by ambulance to RMC for treatment of her injuries. Mr. Eifler was not injured.
