Fatal Collision on Shady Land Church Road in Warren County

Date of News Release: 02/27/2008

(Bowling Green) - Gary H Poteet was traveling east on Shady Land Church Road when his vehicle dropped off the left shoulder of the roadway. Gary H Poteet overcorrected and skidded back across the road and into a field. Gary H Poteet's vehicle overturned and Gary H Poteet was ejected out the driver's door. Gary H Poteet age 50 was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner's Office. Speed, inattention, and overcorrecting were the contributing factors in this collision.
