Two Injured in a Single Car Collision on I-65 in Warren County

(Bowling Green) - Philip Tansey was traveling southbound on Interstate 65 at the 23 milemarker when he attempted to merge in the right lane after passing an unidentified motorist. Philip Tansey ran off the right shoulder of the road onto the gravel portion of the emergency strip traveling approximately 53 feet before colliding with the guardrail end on the passenger side rear door of the truck. Philip Tansey had to be removed by mechanical means and both (Philip Tansey & Stannye Tansey) were transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green where they are listed in stable condition.
