Injury Collision on Jack Smith Road in Barren County

Date of News Release: 07/23/2008

(Bowling Green) - Tait Thomas was traveling northbound on Jack Smith Road the vehicle crested a hill and met George Waldridge's vehicle, which was traveling southbound. Tait Thomas' vehicle then crossed into George Waldridge's lane of travel and impacted with George Waldridge's vehicle. Tait Thomas' vehicle skidded off of the roadway, collided with a stump, and overturned. Tait Thomas' vehicle came to final rest off of the southbound shoulder. George Waldridge's vehicle was disabled upon impact. Tait Thomas and all five passengers (James Riley, Colton Barns, Laurn Garman, Shelby Greer & Tamra Vincent)were transported to T.J. Samson Hospital, where they were treated and released. George Waldridge was also transported to T.J. Samson Hospital, treated and released.
