Felony Arrest in Warren County

Date of News Release: 08/12/2008

(Bowling Green) - Trooper Michael Hatler initiated a traffic stop on a 1987 Chevrolet Blazer at the intersection of Center Street and Eighth Street. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle Trooper Hatler determined that the passenger was giving him false information. With the assistance of Officer Steff of the Bowling Green Police Department, Trooper Hatler was able to obtain a picture of Richard Whitlow to verify his identity. Mr. Whitlow was wanted through a KY agency and various TN and Ga agencies. Upon search of the vehicle drug paraphernalia was located and a small bag of marijuana was located on his person. Richard Whitlow was arrested without incident and lodged on the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd offense, Possession of Marijuana less than 8 ounces, Theft of Identity of another without consent, Fugitive from Justice, Execute warrant for other agency.
