Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision on KY 353 in Bourbon County

(Dry Ridge, KY) - The Kentucky State Police are investigating a single-vehicle, fatal motor vehicle collision, which occurred on KY 353 in Bourbon County just after midnight. The operator, Jonathon Gonzalez Medina, 16 years of age from Lexington, lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the roadway and overturned in a pond, where it became submerged. The operator was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bourbon County Coroner's Office. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. A passenger, Amber Baker (15 years of age) from Lexington, was not injured. The investigation continues by Detective Clinton Graves.
