Armed Robbery Investigation at Warfield Tobacco Mart

Date of News Release: 05/19/2008

(Pikeville, KY)- Post 9 received a call from Martin County 911 at 22:10 5/19/2008, of an Armed Robbery at Warfield Tobacco Mart. Further investigation revealed the suspect made entry through a drive thru window wearing a Halloween scream character mask. Upon making entry to the store, the suspect brandished a handgun. The subject stole an undetermined amount of cash. Suspect exited out the window and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. Det Jason Dials U/433 was assisted on scene by Tpr. Brad Austin U/461, and the Martin County Sheriffs Department. This case remains under investigation Det Jason Dials U/433.
