Hit & Run Fatality in Johnson County

Date of News Release: 08/17/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Post 9 received a call of a male subject lying in the middle of KY 172 in Flat Gap. Upon arrival troopers located Mark Little. Mr. Little age 37 of Staffordsville had apparently been struck by a vehicle and sustained serious physical injury. Mr. Little was pronounced dead at the scene by Johnson County Coroner Jr. Frisby. There were no witnesses or vehicles located at the scene. Case is still under investigation by Detective BJ Caudill. Accident was reconstructed by Trooper Brad Austin.
