Update to the Fatal Collision on US 460 in Millard, KY

Date of News Release: 08/21/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Post 9 Accident Reconstructionist Eddie Crum is investigating an August 19th.

Two-vehicle collision which occurred on U.S. 460 at Millard in Pike County that claimed the life of 38 year old Billy Coleman. The driver, 47 year old Charles Benny Justice, had been airlifted to Holston Valley Hospital for his injuries. Mr. Justice was pronounced dead on August 20th, at 4:45 pm as a result of his injuries. The collision is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police Detective Eddie Crum.

Date of News Release: 08/19/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Vickie Reid was traveling east on US 460 at Millard in a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo when she apparently crossed the center line and struck a 1991 Geo Prism, driven by Benny Justice who was traveling westbound. The passenger in Mr. Justice's vehicle, Billy Coleman, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Zeb Hampton. Ms. Reid and Mr. Justice were both flown to Holston Valley Medical Center in Tennessee. Accident is still under investigation by Detective Eddie Crum.
