News Release

Fatal Shooting Investigation and Arrest in Floyd County

Date of News Release: 09/29/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - On September 27, Post 9 received a call of a shooting. Upon arrival units determined that David and Terry Tuttle had been involved in a domestic violence situation. As a result David Tuttle had been shot in the head by his brother, Terry Tuttle. David Tuttle was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital in West Virginia, where he later was pronounced dead. Terry Tuttle was arrested for Assault 1st and transported to Floyd County Detention Center. Additional criminal charges are pending. Case is still under investigation by Detective BJ Caudill.
