Information available on the website includes an outline of the application process, a list of minimum requirements and disqualifications, a downloadable application form with a list of required supporting documents, a downloadable study guide for the written test, physical standards requirements and a list of testing dates, times and locations.

KSP Accepting Applications for Accelerated Class

>FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 13, 2016) – The Kentucky State Police is now accepting applications for the agency's fourth Law Enforcement Accelerated Program (LEAP), which is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2017. This 11-week program is designed for current law enforcement officers who would like to become Kentucky State Troopers. Applicants must have three years of Kentucky Police Officer Professional Standards (POPS) law enforcement experience by March 1, 2017.
