Cover The Cruiser
Each year, the Kentucky State Police collects monetary donations for the ‘Cover the Cruiser’ fundraiser, which benefits Special Olympics Kentucky. During the campaign, KSP troopers will team up with Special Olympics Kentucky athletes to collect donations from the public.
Community members who contribute at least $1 can place a custom sticker on a KSP cruiser to symbolize their support for athletes competing in the upcoming Special Olympics Kentucky Summer Games.
All funds raised go directly to Special Olympics Kentucky. KSP posts across the state will host events throughout the week, giving residents the opportunity to meet troopers, connect with athletes and show their support for the Special Olympics.
