Paducah, KY (September 20, 2018) – The former McCracken County Property Value Administrator was arrested today after a lengthy investigation by the Kentucky State Police. In the early spring of 2018, a citizen complaint was received regarding misuse of official funds from the PVA’s office. Investigators uncovered over $6,000.00 in theft by means of forged travel vouchers and unauthorized credit card transactions over a five year period. On Friday, September 21st, a KSP detective presented his findings to a McCracken County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury returned an eight-count indictment including one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $500 and seven counts of Forgery 2nd Degree. All are class D Felonies. Bock, who resigned her office last week, turned herself into the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on Monday morning. She was processed at the McCracken County Jail where she posted a $5,000.00 bond.
