Kentucky State Police Investigate Escaped Inmate from Campbell County Detention Center

NEWPORT, Ky. (July 31, 2024) – Mr. Holt was arrested July 31, by Covington Police Department and  is now lodged in the Kenton County Detention Center.

NEWPORT, Ky. (July 30, 2024) – On Tuesday, at approximately 12:33 pm, Kentucky State Police were called to investigate the escape of an inmate from the Campbell County Detention Center in Newport, Ky.

Jamie Sage Holt (33), of Florence Ky. escaped from the Campbell County Detention Center on Wednesday, July 30, 2024 at approximately 12:15 pm. Mr. Holt walked away from a job site on Fredrick’s Landing in Wilder, Ky. He was last seen wearing a Campbell Co. Detention Center neon orange shirt and blue jean pants. Mr. Holt has tattoos on his face under his eyes that say “LUST and HATE”, he also has several tattoos on both arms. See attached photo. 

Currently there is no information on potential locations or route.
