
KSP Charges Hardin Co. Man With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses
Larry Oldham was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
Upton, Ky. (October 1, 2019) — On September 30, 2019, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch executed an arrest warrant for Larry R. Oldham, 37, on charges related to prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor.
Oldham was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect communicating with a juvenile online in an attempt to obtain nude images. Oldham also sent nude images of himself to the juvenile.
Oldham is currently charged with two counts of prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor/ peace officer regarding sex offense. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Oldham was also charged with three counts of distribution of obscene material to a minor. Each count is a Class-A misdemeanor and punishable by up to one year in prison. He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
