Kentucky State Police Arrest Two During Traffic Stop

MAYFIELD, Ky.(October 19, 2017) – Troopers with the Kentucky State Police Post 1 took two local people into custody for various drug charges on Tuesday, October 17th, following a traffic stop. Trooper J. Luckett stopped a passenger car around 11:00 p.m. in the city of Mayfield for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop, Trooper S. Burgess arrived to assist. A search of the vehicle was conducted and various drugs, paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash was located.

The driver of the vehicle, William D. McCampbell, age 31, of Mayfield, Kentucky was arrested and charged with First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving on a Suspended License, and No Tail Lamps.

The passenger of the vehicle, Kimberly R. Hendrickson, age 36, of Mayfield, Kentucky was arrested and charged with Frist Degree Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Second Degree Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession of Marijuana, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She was also arrested for an outstanding bench warrant in a 2016 Graves County District Court case.

Both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
