KSP Arrest Clay Man For Trafficking Methamphetamine

Clay, KY (Webster County) )– The Kentucky State Police is investigating a Clay man after a traffic stop led to his arrest for multiple narcotics charges. On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Trooper Cody Kromer was at 1906 State Route 874, Clay, KY to serve a warrant on Chris Tucker, 58, Clay, KY. Search incident to arrest of Mr. Tucker, revealed money and suspected methamphetamine. Trooper Kromer also observed, in plain view, a plastic bag containing more suspected methamphetamine along with several different types of prescription pills and various items of drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking in narcotics.

Chris Tucker was arrested and lodged in the Webster County Jail on the following charges:

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st Degree, 1st Offense (>2 grams methamphetamine)
  • Possession of Controlled Substances 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified)
  • Possession of Controlled Substances 3rd Degree (Drug Unspecified)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st Degree 1st Offense less than 10 Dosage Units (Opiates)
  • Prescription Controlled Substances Not in Proper Container
