KSP Recruitment Branch To Offer Cadet Testing in Hazard
HAZARD, KY.(January 5, 2018) – The Kentucky State Police will provide cadet testing in Hazard at Perry County Central High School for Cadet Class #97, which is scheduled to begin in July of 2018. The test will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Interested applicants who have not already submitted an application to the KSP Recruitment Branch can bring a notarized copy with them on the night of the test. All required documents, which includes a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, operator’s license and high school diploma or GED, should be submitted as well.
Lt. Brad Arterburn, commander of the KSP Recruitment Branch, believes this is a positive step for the agency. “We have seen very good application numbers from eastern Kentucky and want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to become State Troopers,” he said. “Our hope is that offering a testing site closer to home will encourage more men and women from this region to take the test.”
