Owensboro, KY Man Charged With Sexual Abuse 1st Degree Victim < 12 Years of Age in Ongoing Investigation

Owensboro, Ky. (Spetember 16, 2026)–During an ongoing investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 16 Detective Mason Hendricks, Steven Wright, age (62) of Owensboro, KY was charged with (1) count of Sex Abuse 1st Degree Victim < 12 Years of Age. Previously, Wesley Wright was arrested on Rape 1st Degree Victim < 12 Years of Age regarding this same investigation on August 5, 2026. Detective Hendricks is continuing his investigation at this time. Kentucky State Police is committed to ensuring that crimes against children are thoroughly investigated and pursued.
