
Vehicle Strikes Pedestrian in Breckinridge Co.
***UPDATE*** (Hardinsburg, KY.)- On May 10, 2018 at approximately 1:40 P.M. CDT, Kentucky State Police Post 04 received notification that JD Earl Fulkerson (30) of Irvington succumbed to his injuries received from the May 8, 2018 accident. The accident is still under investigation by Reconstructionist Tpr. Scott Rafferty.
(Hardinsburg, KY.) –Kentucky State Police Post 04 Troopers and Breckinridge County Deputies responded to an injury accident in Breckinridge Co. Tuesday evening. On May 8, 2018 at approximately 10:32 P.M. CDT, KSP received a call from Breckinridge County Sheriff Todd Pate requesting assistance with the accident investigation where a vehicle had struck a pedestrian on KY86 near the intersection of Rosetta Corners Road in Breckinridge County. Baylee M. Harrington (20) of Irvington was traveling East on KY 86 in a 2014 KIA Rio. For unknown reasons, JD Earl Fulkerson (30) of Bardstown walked onto the roadway and in to the path of the vehicle operated by Harrington. Fulkerson was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital and is listed in stable condition at this time, Harrington was not injured. KY 86 was shut down for approximately 2 hours while KSP Troopers reconstructed the accident. The accident is still under investigation by Reconstructionist Tpr. Scott Rafferty.
