Kentucky State Police Post 1 Kicks Off Annual Cram the Cruiser Food Drive
MAYFIELD, Ky. (November 24, 2025) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 has begun accepting donations of non-perishable food items for the 2025 Cram the Cruiser initiative. As we approach the holiday season, KSP Post 1 is working with local food pantries to ensure no family in our community goes hungry. All donations of non-perishable food items will be distributed to food pantries in the local area. Donations will be accepted through December 5th. Donations can be dropped off at KSP Post 1, located at 8366 US Highway 45 N. in Hickory, Ky. There is a cruiser parked out front that food can be placed in. Food can also be dropped off in the lobby.
A signature event will be held at the Kroger in Murray on December 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm CT.
Some ideas of non-perishable food items include canned beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soups, canned chicken and tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, instant oatmeal, intant potatoes, peanut butter, etc. Please ensure donated foods are not opened or expired.
