UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Post 1 Searching for Missing Paducah Man

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 28, 2026) – Jay Edgar Harrison has been located safe.

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 28, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 troopers are searching for a man who has been reported missing from the Paducah area.

On April 28th, KSP Post 1 received a call from an acquaintance who expressed concern for Jay Edgar Harrison, a 24 year old white male with brown hair, hazel eyes, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Post 1 was advised that Mr. Harrison had been staying with a family member in Paducah, but had not been seen by them in over 2 weeks. He may have traveled to the Morganfield area. 

Anyone with information on Mr. Harrison’s whereabouts is asked to contact KSP Post 1 by calling (270)856-3721, or submitting a tip through our website. The investigation remains ongoing by Trooper Derek Scott.
