UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Asking For Public Assistance Locating Missing Person

FULTON, Ky. (April 4, 2026) – Alexander Penman has been located. 

Original News Release below:

FULTON, Ky. (April 3, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who was released from the Fulton County Detention Center on April 1, 2026.

Alexander Penman, a 29 year old black male standing approximately 5′ 10″ and weighing approximately 185 pounds, with a last known address in Lexington, Ky. was released from the Fulton County Detention Center on April 1, 2026. He reportedly received a ride from Fulton to a Greyhound bus stop in Madisonville, Ky. He was scheduled to get on a bus at the Madisonville bus stop, traveling to Louisville, Ky. with a stop in Nashville, Tn. 

Mr. Penman was expected to arrive in Louisville, Ky. on April 2, 2026 and report to the Dismas Charities St. Patricks Halfway House. Mr. Penman has not reported to his expected destination at this time. 

Mr. Penman does have an active warrant for his arrest on the charge of absconding from parole. 

Mr. Penman’s family has contacted KSP Post 1 expressing concern as they report not having seen or heard from him since his release from Fulton County Detention Center.
