KSP Investigation Results in Four Indictments for the 2016 Futon County Inmate Death
The investigation is continuing by KSP Sergeant Eric Fields.
Hickory, Ky. (May 17, 2019) The Kentucky State Police began a death investigation into the death of Fulton County inmate Kyle Combs, 28 years old that overdosed on October 26, 2016. The investigation was recently presented to a Fulton County Grand Jury and received 4 indictments.
Daniel J. Thomas, 35 of Fulton, KY, a former corrections officer at the jail was indicted and charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, on May 13, 2019.
Danny B. Wilder Jr, 35 of Marion, KY, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender. Wilder’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
Steven Juniper, 28 of Sandy Hook, KY, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender. Juniper’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
Ronnie C. J. Littlejohn, 29 of Cincinnati, OH, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree, 1st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender. Littlejohn’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
