Kentucky State Police Post 1 Arrests Paducah Man for Charges Related to Ongoing Court Proceeding
PADUCAH, Ky. (May 26, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 detectives have arrested and charged a Paducah man following a false report to law enforcement that was made to intimidate and retaliate against a participant in an ongoing legal process.
On March 25, 2026, Ryan Conn, 41 years old of Paducah, alleged to KSP that his former nanny had stolen and damaged items in his home in 2024. Mr. Conn alleged that his former nanny hosted parties at the residence while the family was out of town and consumed his alcohol. Through investigation, including review of text message conversations, it was found that Mr. Conn had authorized the gatherings and the taking of alcohol.
Mr. Conn’s former nanny, whom he made the allegations against, is a victim in an ongoing criminal case against Mr. Conn. The former nanny is also the plaintiff in a civil case against Mr. Conn.
On May 21, 2026, a warrant was issued for Mr. Conn with the charges of False Report of an Incident to Law Enforcement, Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process, and Retaliating Against a Participant in the Legal Process.
On May 25, 2026, troopers located and arrested Mr. Conn. He was lodged at the McCracken County Jail.
