Kentucky State Police Post 1 to Honor Fallen Trooper

WHAT: Kentucky State Police, Post 1 Troopers will Lay a Wreath at the Memorial Site of Trooper Eric Chrisman on the 10th Anniversary of His Death

WHEN: Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10:45am CT

WHERE: The Flag Pole Marking the Memorial Site of Trooper Chrisman located at approximately the 0.3 mile marker of US 62 in Livingston County 

WHO: Kentucky State Police and Family of Trooper Eric Chrisman. Anyone else who wishes to show their respect is welcome to attend.

WHY: To Honor the Sacrifice of Trooper Eric Chrisman and his Service to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Trooper Eric K. Chrisman, age 23, was fatally injured on June 23, 2015, in a vehicle collision while en route to a reckless driving complaint on US 62 in Livingston County. Upon receiving his commission as a Trooper, he was assigned to Post 1, Mayfield, where his death came only six months into his career.
