Kentucky State Police Searching for Missing McCracken County Man

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 31, 2025) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 is currently searching for an 83-year old McCracken County man who has been reported missing by his family. 

Michael C. Thompson, 83 years old of Paducah, KY is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 9″ tall, weighing 185 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. 

Mr. Thompson was last seen driving in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County around 10:00am CT this morning, July 31. He is believed to be operating a 2010 red GMC Sierra with Kentucky license plate number 479462. Mr. Thompson may be disoriented and confused.
