Kentucky State Police Post 1 Searching For Missing Mayfield Woman

MAYFIELD, Ky. (September 21, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 troopers are searching for a woman who has been reported missing from the Mayfield area.

On September 16th, KSP Post 1 received a call from a family member who expressed concern for Ethelene Moss. Ms. Moss is described as an 80 year old black female with black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. Troopers were told that the family member has not been able to make contact with Ms. Moss since August 18th. Troopers have attempted to locate Ms. Moss at her last known residence on South 2nd Street in Mayfield but have been unable to make contact with her. Family members believe she may be staying at a hotel in the area.
