Kentucky State Police Post 1 Arrest Trigg County Man for Arson

CADIZ, Ky. (September 9, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 detectives have arrested a Trigg County man following an investigation into a barn fire.

On September 4th, 2026, KSP Post 1 was requested to investigate a barn fire in the 5000 block of Princeton Road in Cadiz that was reportedly set intentionally. A thorough investigation was conducted. Evidence at the scene suggested that there was no accidental or natural cause to the fire, as determined by a certified fire and explosives investigator. Witness statements were also gathered as part of the investigation.

The investigation led to the arrest of Robert Ingram, 59 years old of Cadiz, KY with charges of Arson 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. 

The investigation remains ongoing by Detective Propes.
