Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatality in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. On March 2, 2026, at approximately 8:10 pm., Kentucky State Police Post 11 London was notified by Laurel County 911 of a single-vehicle collision with injuries on Sinking Creek Road in Laurel County.

Trooper Shawn Boroviak, Unit 995, responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.

Preliminary investigation revealed Unit 1 was operated by John L. Frazier, 21 of London, Ky. Mr. Frazier was traveling northbound on Sinking Creek Road when his vehicle entered a curve, exited the roadway, and overturned. During the collision sequence, Mr. Frazier was ejected from the vehicle. 

 Laurel County Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene and rendered first aid. Mr. Frazier was subsequently transported by helicopter to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.

On March 3, 2026, at 0125 hours, Mr. Frazier was pronounced deceased at the University of Tennessee Medical Center by attending medical staff.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Kentucky State Police Trooper Shawn Boroviak.
