Kentucky State Police Investigates Injury Accident

**UPDATE** 9-9

Lawrenceburg, KY (September 9, 2019) David Henderson II was charged by the Kentucky State Police Post 12 with two counts of Assault, 1st Degree stemming from the injury collision that occurred on September 6, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, KY. The investigation continues by Kentucky State Police Detectives and Collision Reconstructionists. Additional charges are pending as the investigation progresses.

 

Lawrenceburg, Ky. (September 7, 2019) – On September 6, 2019 at approximately 10:54pm the Harrodsburg Police Department initiated a vehicle pursuit that began on US127 in Mercer County and ended at the intersection of US62 in Anderson County.

 

The preliminary investigation indicates that the Harrodsburg Police Department began pursuit of a 2013, Chrysler 200 occupied by David Henderson, age 30 of Hawesville, KY, and Rachel Webb, age 27 of Reynolds Station, KY on US127 in Mercer County. The fleeing vehicle failed to yield to police and crossed over into Anderson County. The vehicle pursuit concluded when the fleeing vehicle came into contact with a 2005, Nissan Altima on US127 at the intersection of US62 (Fox Creek Rd) causing an injury accident. This vehicle was occupied by three unidentified civilians. One of the unidentified females was transported to UK Hospital and is currently in critical condition.

 

David Henderson was taken into custody by the Harrodsburg Police Department and arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant out of Grayson County. The Harrodsburg Police Department also charged Mr. Henderson with Speeding 26mph Over the Limit, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Failure to or Improper Signal, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st Offense (Aggravated Circumstance). He is currently being lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center. Rachel Webb was transported to UK Hospital and is currently being treated for minor injuries.

 

The investigation and collision reconstruction is ongoing by Kentucky State Police Post 12 Detectives.
