Kentucky State Police Conducts Murder Investigation

Mousie, KY. (June 28, 2021) – Kentucky State Police, Post 13, Hazard, is conducting an investigation into the death of a Knott County man. KSP received a call on Pine Tree Hollow, located in the Mousie community of Knott County, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at approximately 10:40 A.M. The caller reported an unfamiliar vehicle parked in the driveway and an unknown subject lying in close proximity to the vehicle.

Troopers and Detectives responded to the scene and located Bradley Mullins, 33, of Vest, deceased from what appeared to be several gunshot wounds. The Knott County Coroner’s Office responded and pronounced Mullins deceased on scene.

At this time, foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled, as this incident remains under investigation by Detective Scott Caudill.
