Kentucky State Police Trooper Involved in Single-Vehicle Collision 

WILLARD, Ky. (September 3, 2025) – On September 3, 2025, at approximately 3:39 p.m., a Kentucky State Police Trooper assigned to Post 14 in Ashland was involved in a single-vehicle collision in the Willard community of Carter County. 

Preliminary investigation indicates that the Trooper’s vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment, causing the cruiser to overturn. The Trooper sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by Healthnet air medical services to Cabell Huntington Hospital for medical treatment. 

The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
