Execution of search warrant leads to two arrest  

Trooper Jordan Carter assisted the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department in executing a search warrant

Clinton County (August 6, 2018) On August 3^rd 2018 at approximately 7:11 PM CST Trooper Jordan Carter assisted the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department in executing a search warrant six miles west of Albany on Cedar Hill Rd.  As a result of searching the residence Trooper Carter and Sheriff Jim Guffey located several small bags of methamphetamine, digital scales, syringes, smoke pipes, liquid fire, lithium batteries, grinders and several prescription pills. Bobby Kennedy, age 27 and Amanda Newberry, age 30, both of Albany were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1^st degree 1^st offense, (drug unspecified,) unlawful possession of a meth precursor, 1^st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, 3^rd degree- drug unspecified, controlled substance endangerment to a child, 4^th degree and trafficking in a controlled substance, 1^st degree, 1^st offense –(< 2 grams methamphetamine.) Both  were lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
