Kentucky State Police Investigating Late-Night Shooting in Ohio County

BEAVER DAM, Ky. (Feb. 15, 2026) – On February 13, 2026, at approximately 11:38 p.m., troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 16 responded to a reported shooting in the 900 block of Crowe Street in Beaver Dam.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Samantha Fultz and Miles Snodgrass arrived at Samantha Fultz’s residence when they were confronted by Billy Fultz. A confrontation ensued between Snodgrass and Billy Fultz, during which Snodgrass discharged a firearm, striking Fultz once in the abdomen.

Billy Fultz was transported by ambulance to Owensboro Health for treatment of his injury.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
