UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Searching for Escaped Inmate

OWENSBORO, Ky. (April 12, 2026) – The Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson has located escaped inmate Angela S. Long in Barren County. She is now in custody.

OWENSBORO, Ky. (April 11, 2026) – The Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson, is searching for an inmate who escaped from Dismas Charities in Owensboro on April 10 at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST.
Angela S. Long, 45 years of age, is described as a white female, 5’ 4” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with long straight brown hair and blue eyes. Long was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue t-shirt and grey sneakers. She was seen leaving the facility and entering a black car.
She was serving a sentence for various theft and substance abuse-related charges. Anyone who may have information about the location of Angela Long is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312.
