
Owensboro Man Arrested in Stolen Vehicle After Traffic Stop
Simple Speeding Violation Turns Into Stolen Vehicle Arrest and Recovery
OWENSBORO, Ky. (April 16, 2019)—A Kentucky State Police trooper was working work zone enforcement on Interstate 165 (FKA Wm. Natcher Parkway) south of Owensboro in Daviess County. The trooper conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer at 3:48p.m. for a speed violation. Through the investigation, it was discovered the vehicle was stolen from Greenville, KY.
The operator of the Trailblazer was identified as Noah A. Leach, 18 of Owensboro. He was arrested without incident and charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over $10,000, Operating on a Suspended Operator’s License, and Improper Display of Registration Plate.
The vehicle was returned to the owner and Leach was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
